Title: How does "Marked As Read/Unread" work?
Post by: owlpower on March 24, 2018, 02:12:35 PM
I'm a newbie here at OOTS. How does the "Mark as Read/Unread" function work?

Hi Owlpower - if you see a lot of orange "New" icons beside threads and don't really want to wade through them all, you can mark the ones you don't plan to read as "Read". That way they will not show up with the orange "New" icon any more.  Similarly, if you want to re-read a particular thread  you could mark it as "Unread" so you go back to it.

Hope this helps.  ;)

Also, if you look by reply there is also a button to mark as unread.
