so I've just been so depressed lately and cutting and I honestly don't know what to do. I don't want to cut anymore and I dissociated and have no memory of doing this. My children are getting older and I can't do this anymore. I tried to volunteer into a psych ward but they said I wasn't a threat so they couldn't emit me. I don't understand. Does anyone have any ideas for me? I'm so desperate... my symptoms are going haywire and I also have fibromyalgia and endometriosis along with cptsd. It's getting so overwhelming and I have a therapist and all that but nothings helping lately

thanks for sharing, erika.  it sounds like you are doing the right things.  are antidepressants a possibility?  maybe a day treatment program for depression?  i would think that your self-harm would encourage your t to pull a few strings for that.  i'm just so sorry you're in so much pain.

i, too, have fibromyaglia, and i understand how much having constant pain can drag you down.  it just saps us of energy, vitality, and mental/emotional strength to find a more pos. perspective for life.  just want you to know that i'm with you, we're all with you here.  sending love and a big  gentle caring hug  :grouphug:  if that's ok.

Welcome, Erika. I'm sorry to hear you're in so much pain. The only other thing I can suggest besides what San said, is that maybe you could read about emotional flashbacks and the different coping skills we learn in order to cope. http://pete-walker.com/flashbackManagement.htm

Let me know if that helps, or doesn't - I care ♥️

Hey Erika,

I'm sorry to hear about all this. It must be incredibly overwhelming for you, to be handling so much.
Remember that it's okay to take a step back every now and then, you don't have to tackle everything all at once. If you can separate everything, deal with them all one at a time, I think it may help you to understand and find what you need the most right now - even if that's just a generic feeling.

Regards,
Ellis.

Calling a helpline may work for those times when nothing else is there. Sending you good thoughts for what you need.
