I wonder if anyone has any info on this?

It is a bad habit, that I am stopping.

Perps are turned on by a childs emotional pain and distress. Especially with CSA, part of the damage of abuse, can be, something similar. Kids learn how to get turned on by their own emotional distress and pain. In adult life, reliving,  talking about trauma, can be therapeutic. However some people are turned on by it.....this is fetshising emotional pain. Seen in AA meetings

Ok I see now. I personally haven't heard of this and I read fairly widely so :Idunno:  Also we likely wouldn't see it discussed here because members want to stop/decrease pain. That said, it may be a topic no-one wants to be the first to bring up - hard to say.
