Title: Who's Getting Better Sleep?
Post by: movementforthebetter on December 30, 2018, 10:07:07 AM
I'm curious if anyone has found their sleep patterns or quality of restful sleeps have improved over time?

If so, would you say this is due more to processing trauma, or to lifestyle changes?

You are not doctors, but I'd like to hear your experiences on catching more of those elusive Zs.

Sleep is at times one of the biggest issues for me, it has a knock on effect on everything else.

I've noticed my sleep changes over time, it is sometimes very disturbed then gradually it eases, then gradually or suddenly gets worse again.

I think sleep is the barometer of my subconscious, my anxiety levels register on and affect my brain, then this changes sleep.

Its bad at the moment but I can see why, had some extra stress recently and the festive season and long dark nights doesn't help.

Recognising these changes helps me cope, I remember that it can ease up which helps when things aren't great.

Its not permanent, its cyclic.

I am sleeping better, and I do attribute it to the progress I've made.
