Title: UK Benefits System Worsening My CPTSD

I think that my C-PTSD has been re-activated (OK, worsened - it never did go away) by having to deal with the benefits system here in the UK. Anybody else?

I feel for you, waylay, and I am terrified that I will have to deal with the UK benefits system soon, because my husband is divorcing me and I have been completely financially dependent on him.

I would be very interested to hear about how they react to people with CPTSD and associated difficulties.

I have just been awarded pip and am currently filling out work capability assessment ...
Yes it is stressful and therefore potentially triggering.
Getting as much good support as possible and letting know services know i have mental health disorder has been helpful to get treated with dignity and fastracking where poss

theres an excellent book called "the big book of benefits" which helped me get standard pip on both components.
