That author has some great things to say, for sure! Such a hard thing to do, to leave behind those friends who only drag us down and interfere with our healing process/progress.

Thanks Kizzie/TR for this resource! I have trouble seeing no-longer-friends as toxic. "Toxic" could just mean 'bad for me' I guess. Anyway, this resource is helping me see that I probably don't need to do anymore writing and explaining to those 2 no-longer-friends tho possibly more Recovery Letters on here. btw in my present culture you can be acquainted with people, even have some contact, without being friends. At least for the mother of my godson I do want to retain necessary contact.
