Title: How to explain PTSD to someone who doesn't have it?

Good stuff in here, on the surface. The trouble comes when trying to explain below that. From bizarre to risking outright rejection, the inside territory I've found to be the most problematic area -- after all, it's trying to describe abuses and the surrounding territory with logic; when it never did make any sense. It only puts oomph to the old saying: "I'm speechless."

Yeah, it can be a challenge to share stuff like this.
