At some point overnight the bit about motivation came to mind. I have so much trouble with motivation. I'm always having to re-motivate myself. In the podcast they mentioned that this is due to traumatisation. I don't remember enough to explain it, but it's one of these moments of relief: it's part of the Beast. My job to keep working on it, but no wonder it's so hard.

Every little bit helps, doesn't it?

I only listened for a minute or so and decided I wasn't ready for it, but I heard something along the lines of "Narcissistic mothers need their children's attention" and what followed. What galls me now is that my sibs ultimately took her side against me.

:bighug:

My sibs are 'against' my M covertly, but they're willing to put up with her difficult behaviour, they're willing to go that extra mile for her and blame me for ruining the family. Now that I've gone LC, they'll probably blame my memory instead.  ;) Particularly sib2 is not willing to stand up to her, it's easier to push me out.
