Title: Medication
Post by: LittleBird on January 06, 2018, 05:38:39 PM
When using medication for a dissociation issue, has anyone else found the increase in mood swings particularly difficult to manage? Because it is rubbish to up and up dosages when the risks are high. I guess it's like gambling. Or being used to gamble. Or something.

I don't have any experience either.  I am curious, I didn't think medication can help with dissociation.  Unless, it is perhaps anxiety medication which would help keep a person relaxed so they don't dissociate as much.

I also find my service dog keeps me grounded.  She can tell and she will lick my hands or brush up against me.
