Title: SI

Has anyone got advice on what to do * old SI marks? I'm really upset about them. I think I need to use an oil treatment but I struggle with this kind of self care every day.

There are burn pastes that you can buy to cover them up, I don't like that.  If they are old enough and not raised you can cover them with tattoos.  I have been considering looking into plastic surgery, but haven't yet.  I think I am going to go with the tattoos, a few pretty flowers with some butterflies to remind me of how far I have come.  Until then I cover them with clothing and don't date.

Unfortunately, we can't take back what is done.

I have a tattoo that covers some of them. I'd make sure that you want the tattoo that you're getting.
There are make-up you can use, but there are also sort of "sleeves" that you can use, if it's on your arms that is. They are meant for people who just got their tattoo and need to protect it from the sunlight. They come in various shades and colours.
I can't remembe what they are called, but I'm sure it's an easy google.

If you have a Neal's Yard Remedies Organic shop near you or a consultant (direct sales) they do a product called Wild Rose Beauty Balm. It is absolutely amazing on scars. It also works brilliantly for eczema and other skin issues.
