Welcome to the forum TakePainsBePerfect.
You seem to be finding your way around well enough so I'll spare you the 'tour'.

Through your acting/drama have you come across the Alexander Technique?
I've had a few individual lessons in it, but I think that my CPTSD symptoms are largely responsible for my poor 'use' of myself, particularly in the relationship between my head and neck.

I was wondering if this is something you can relate to?
Or maybe you don't have a clue what I'm going on about LOL.

Hello stephanie, welcome to Out of the Storm.

I believe there's been some discussion recently in the forum's Group Work section about the book 'Coping with Trauma-Related Dissociation'. I've not been involved myself but you may get something of value from it since you mentioned having dissociative identity disorder. You'll find it in:
CPTSD and US / Group Work / Book Club

I hope the forum in general can be of  help to you regarding your recent CPTSD diagnosis. Feel free to post, if and when you want to, or simply just read (I tend to just read). If you want, maybe you can explain about the process of getting your diagnosis.

Welcome to OOTS.
Your ex GF certainly sounds like a handful.

You did the right thing in calling the police before she did. People with narcissistic personality disorder don't have any problems with twisting the truth and enlisting others (including the police) to gang up on their victims.

Once physical abuse has occurred in a relationship it's likely to recur so I'd say that you're better off out of it. I'm glad that you're no longer in any physical danger and that you're getting support from a therapist.

When you're logged in, you can choose how the date and time of posts is displayed.
To change this from the default format, go to 'Profile', 'Modify Profile', 'Look and Layout', 'Time Format'. Rather than using one of the predetermined formats from the drop down box, you can customize the layout more by changing what's in the box below that. Here's a list of what some of the strings mean:

%Y      Year with century                 (e.g. 2016)
%y      Year without century            (e.g. 16)

%B      Full month name                  (e.g. February)
%b      Abbreviated month name    (e.g. Feb)
%m     Month as a decimal number (e.g. 02)

%d      Day of month as number      (e.g. 11)

%A      Full weekday name              (e.g. Thursday)
%a      Abbreviated weekday name(e.g. Thu)

%D      Month/Day/Year                    (e.g. 02/11/16)

%H      Hour in 24-Hour format        (e.g. 21)
%I       Hour in 12-Hour format        (e.g. 09)

%p      AM or PM indicator                (e.g. AM)

%M      Minute as decimal number   (e.g. 59)

%S       Second as decimal number  (e.g. 03)

You can put these in any order, and whatever you type between the strings is also displayed.
I'm using   %Y-%b-%d, %H:%M  which displays as  2016-Feb-11, 21:59
I find that easier to read - it's a bit less 'busy', there are no seconds displayed and the 24hr format prevents AM/PM from dribbling over onto the next line, as they sometimes do with the default format.
