Hi all,
I'm new here. My name is Jennifer. My username is Upwardbound. This had been with me for at least a decade as a way to focus on moving upward in all facets of my life, and specifically CPTSD and all that comes along with it. After 21 years and just before my 40th birthday doing my own research CPTSD was a revealtion that I needed. It is all starting to make sense. Now, I have a trauma informed therapist, am on medication and working on moving "Upwardbound" to aim for the goal of thriving vs surviving. However long it takes and however difficult I'm ready to reclaim my life so I can live it to the fullest and BE FREE. I know I have a long journey ahead, but my faith, family and willpower/determination WILL propel me forward.
I'd love to connect and share more about my story. I am already grateful for this group, so thank you for having me.
Love, light, strength and patience to all of you CPTSD SURVIVORS! We are in this together, and WE CAN DO THIS!
