Maybe a chiropractor would help me, too.

Thanks, DB.  Sorry your vertigo got the better of you.  Tinnitus just sucks.  Mine has been getting worse, and I have lived with it for over 4 years now.  Hoping for some help understanding the origins, as my efforts at adjusting to the noise have not produced results.  If the audiologist doesn't have any suggestions, my doctor says she will do either an MRI or CT scan.

3R, you are just a terrific person.  I am so glad to get to know you here on this forum.  The idea of mending ourselves and therefore being stronger and more beautiful - it's powerful.  Thanks! :applause:

I, too, am sorry you cannot count on your husband when things are rough for you.  I have some experience with that type of situation myself, although things are better these days (not perfect, but better).  Hang in there, be gentle with yourself.

Great job running a 5k while going through all that you have been through lately.  I'm impressed!

Thanks, friends

I had a chest X-ray and some blood work done.  I see an audiologist on Tuesday.

Thanks, 3Roses.  I so admire your drive and persistence.

I am taking myself to my doctor today to have some symptoms checked.  We all know how strong the mind-body connection is and some of the things going on with me may be strongly related to my healing from trauma, but I have questions about some things which are interfering with my ability to process information as well as my persistent tinnitus, low blood pressure, Andy irregular heartbeat.

Hoping for clarity.

Hope, here's to making it through whatever stressful situations you encounter over the weekend.  You have a few days to plan ways to survive these situations, and I hope that you will remember your excellent coping techniques.

 Thanks for sharing, for being real with your feelings and being able to let us know how you handled them.  Here's hoping that next week has fewer challenges for you.

Woodsgnome-

I am so very sorry that this person has ripped open your heart and callously blamed you for your own victim hood, doling out pain for being in pain.  I don't pretend to understand the motivations of individuals such as this.  What can they possibly gain by hurting us?  It doesn't have to make sense, I suppose, but when we lower our defenses and someone like this storms through the remaining barriers it hurts so very much.

Yes, it is a victory that you survive and will regain your powers once more.  Nobody can take that from you.  I understand how painful it can be when another brings on feelings of shame which people like us are always carrying just beneath the surface all the time.  You deserve better, and it is my hope that true friends find you and earn the right to be called your friends one day.  Meanwhile, know that you are cared for by those of us on this precious site.  :grouphug:
