(First of all i don't know if this is okay to create a post like this in this forum, if it's not okay, i truly apologize and will understand if the post got deleted and i will refrain from posting similar post like this in the future 💟💝)

Hello everyone,

My name is Blueteddy. I'm 23 years old, and I'm from Indonesia 💜. I identify as genderfluid (he/him pronouns) 🧡. Expressing myself through art and writing has always brought me comfort, especially during the toughest times. Though creating has been challenging lately, I'm determined to push past my fears and connect with others who've had similar experiences 🌈.

I'm looking to make friends who enjoy sharing their art or writing with each other 💖. By motivating one another, we can express our emotions and escape reality, even when life feels unbearable. Creativity has always been my way to find peace amidst the pain, and I'd love for us to inspire each other to keep going.

A bit about me: I am passionate about big issues like feminism, socialism, and standing up against injustice when I see it. I'm often described as cheerful, caring, and outgoing, and I love having conversations that range from lighthearted to deep. Social connection means a lot to me, especially since I live in isolation in Indonesia, where finding support is difficult.

If you're interested, maybe we could:

1. Share drawings or stories and discuss our creative processes 🎨
2. Motivate each other with small art or writing challenges 🌈
3. Create a virtual space where we can hang out, talk, and make art together 🌟

I understand how hard it is to open up, but I believe we could build a safe, supportive space where creativity thrives despite the struggles we've endured 💜.

If this resonates with you, please feel free to reach out. I'm really looking forward to connecting with people who share the same passion for art and self-expression 💫.

Hello, Blueteddy. I enjoy art and writing. Mostly art, lately. Do you envisage a particular way in which this sharing might work?

Hi NarcKiddo that's amazing!! I was thinking something like connecting on specific platforms like Whatsapp/Telegram/Discord might be the best way to do this activity! Like at first we can share each other art, the explanation, meaning behind it etc. while keeping in touch and getting to know one another and once we both comfortable we can try being on call together while doing this art so we have a sense of company which will push motivation to do it and we don't even have to turn on our mic during the call. Or we can also set a specific time where we chat while making art together. There is also a way to actually digitally do art together on some website or Discord. If we have more people who would like to join we can create a server and voice call room for ones who want to create something together or just want to have a safe space to create art.

Though i understand that could be uncomfortable for some people to share their social media and being in touch outside of this website and having a more personal(?) interaction like that. But there are ways to make an account in those platforms completely anonymous but i can see how that can still be uncomfortable for some people.

So maybe another way could be through the PM in this website? But it seems difficult to send pictures there i have tried before but didn't really work(?) do you know how to send pictures there?

Or maybe even email!

What do you think? :3

We do caution members here about sharing any of their personal info including real name, contact info, etc., because this is the internet and you never know who is on the other end.

If you want to be safe and still share your art, you can attach your pieces to your posts and then discuss them. Maybe others will join in if they see them and know it's safe to do so.

NarcKiddo

If Kizzie is OK with us discussing art in this thread or forum area then I would be OK with that. I think Kizzie has to approve all attachments, though, so they don't appear instantly when you make a post. But having them here for discussion does mean that others might be interested in joining.

I agree there are aspects of direct messaging, chats or emails which may make it easier to discuss such things but I'm not comfortable with that. Sorry.

I have attached my latest picture, done in chalk pastels on some fancy new paper I wanted to try. I'm pretty pleased with how it came out. Well, with the smoke that is. Not the planes so much but this is A4 size so it was not all that easy to get any sort of decent shape to them.

Hello everyone.
I love to read and write. Here's something I wrote a couple of days before.
He's poison,
and I've longed to taste death.
He's prickly,
and I adore abraded skin.
He's furious,
while I'm the teacup he shatters.

He's powerful,
and I, the powerless.
He screams,
and I sit alone in a corner,
covering my ears,
sobbing.

He speaks,
and I catch every syllable,
searching for a hint of anger.
He's a chef,
and I'm chopped on a cutting board.
He's bald,
and I'm unkempt hair on a Sunday morning.

He's ugly,
and I'm a lingering stain
on his face.
He's apologetic,
and I wonder what for,
after he ruins me.

He's a merchant,
and I'm rotten, spoiled goods.
He's a sailor,
and I'm dry land.
He's a mountain,
and I'm the iceberg,
melting slowly beneath.

He's a sculptor,
and I, a painting,
lost in the brushstrokes.
He's a father,
and I'm a child robbed of innocence.
He's a soldier,
and I'm unidentified territory.

He's an accuser,
and I'm willing to be criminalized.
He's all judgment,
and I, all sin.
He's *,
and I, eternally burning.

He's crying,
and I wonder—
is it for the daughter he lost,
or for the father I never had?

Another one:
God, where are you?
You're everywhere.

In the words I speak,
And those I leave unsaid.
In the smile that haunts,
In the silence that deafens.

In the turmoil of my loneliness,
And the hum of my wholeness.
In the empty shell that's me,
In the hollowed form you've made of me.

In the moments I breathe,
And the ones that steal my breath.
In the things I ponder,
And the thoughts that slip away.

In the darkness of the night,
And the shadows of the mornings.
In the coffee gone cold.
In a heart always sold on you.

In the dullness of the sky,
And the chaos of the land.

You linger in all that I am,
Yet remain just out of reach.
You are everywhere.
But are you?

Wow, Sunshineandwarmth. Those are really powerful. Especially, for me, the first one. Him being bald and you unkept hair on a Sunday morning is so vivid. Also him a soldier and you unidentified territory. Those just zing with atmosphere. Well done.
