Or, well - as happy as anyone could be, given the reason why we're all here, anyway.

I've always been told I have "too much going on" to get the help I need from doctors, therapists, or even other support forums, and I think some of you here may relate to the feeling. It's good to be among those who understand.

I'm 29 and I live in Florida with a partner who also has a C-PTSD diagnosis. I have a physical disability as well, which means I don't work. Lately it seems like all my attempts to get better have backfired and left me worse off, while my partner rockets ahead with successful treatment and achievements at work, and it's been hard not to feel left out. This community may be the bright spot I've been looking for, and I hope to find the support I need here to keep moving on.

Welcome!

I am sure you will find more support here than you imagined, as I have.

Welcome here!  :heythere:
I've made incredible progress since I've been on here. I'm in therapy too, but things have really taken off since I came on here. This place is a bright spot and very supportive!

There are quite a number of us on here who are not working any more or only part-time and struggling etc. Or taking the time to heal and then go back to work if possible.

Hi and a warm welcome to OOTS Stars  :heythere:  We do all have a lot going on so I'm sure you will find many posts that resonate and are helpful.  I'm sorry you feel left out, but I think it's important that you didn't let it stop you.  You found us and now you belong to a community  Looking after your needs by finding help and support is a big step forward in recovering from this disorder
