I will read it too!  What I do is to copy and paste the name at top of post, and then clean out the extras that I don't need.  Then I go back and copy and past the section I want to quote. Then I highlight (right click and move mouse to get the text) on the post I wanted to copy. then I go to color at top and pick Blue..

when I hit quote I always get all the text in that post... most of the time I want to post about a section of it. This way I get what I want. probably more time consuming!

Badmemories, try this:

1) highlight the text you want to copy, then copy it with Ctrl+C
2) in your reply form, click on the "quote" button --> this will give you something that looks like this: (quote)(/quote) ... only with [ brackets instead of round ones
3) click the teeny-tiny gap in the middle, then hit Ctrl+V to paste your text into it

If you want to add the name of whoever said what you're quoting:
4) go to this bit right at the top of your quote: (quote) ...of course it has [ brackets really
5) then type the name like this: (quote=name of whoever said that)
