Hi all.

Was directed to this site by my therapist who recommended it as a resource and outlet.

I have recently accepted my T's advise and diagnosis of C-PTSD. Just learning about it and hope this is a good resource. Most of what I have read resonates.

Starting to read Pete Walker's books starting with "The Tao of Fully Feeling" and then moving on to "Complex PTSD - from surviving to thriving".  Any other book recommendations are welcome.

Pretty new to the support group stuff. I've always been open about my experience with those in my life. Sharing it with strangers is new tho. I'm not particularly shy by any means but might be slow to revel at first. I have learned that it is good to be amongst and share with others that understand.

Hi and welcome from fellow newbie. I'm new to this whole concept too but feel hopeful of the idea of talking to people who 'get it'.

Hello and welcome!

There is no need to reveal anything here, aside from what you personally may find therapeutic. Since you're asking for book recommendations, may I suggest "The Body Keeps The Score" by Bessel van der Kolk.
