Hi! I'm CannaKris and my name is that because I medicate with antidepressants but also medical cannabis. I live in IL where medical cannabis is legal. I was diagnosed correctly in January of this year. I've decided to finally admit it to myself yesterday. I drink way too much and I'm sick of feeling like * all the time. So I found u guys. Thanks so much and I cant wait to talk to all of u. oh also I had an alcoholic mean father and have C-PTSD due to childhood trauma. and a bunch of other * after that ive done in my 35 yrs of life. I am also married to my hs sweetheart (dont know how he deals with me). so together 18yrs and married 11. we have a daughter 10 and son who turns 6 on the 23th of this month.

Hi and a warm welcome to OOTS CannaKris, glad you found your way here     Most of us found that a diagnosis of CPTSD was a relief (finally knowing we're actually not crazy, that we developed a set of common symptoms due to trauma), and scary (what do I do now?).
