That's great Kizzie.  It sounds like you were able to take this another step further by also  being able to disclose, discuss and trust with your H.  I'm sure your IC is watching, learning, growing :)

It took me years to trust my T enough to tell her about my situation. First of all i didn't think about talking about it with anyone, or i didn't want to.
 She normally helps parents stop struggling with their kids so for years I only talked to her about how to stop my children fighting etc
Then last year when my father had the heart attack and my mother stopped me from flying over to see him and her I started shouting at husband and kids and got other stress symptoms. So I asked her if she talks about issues with people's own parents she said she does. She is the only one i would trust because i know her relationship with her own children is amazing and her own parents were very stable etc.
