TRE - Trauma releasing exercises

Wondererd if anyone has tried or uses TRE - Trauma releasing exercises, and how they found it?

i tried it once in a class, and wasnt sure what to make of it, but thinking of trying again, but having these forums makes me feel less like a one man bad on a mission to fix myself, so thought i would ask

What are these Johnram?
I tried something at a recent training day, think of something which troubled you, continue thinking of it whilst shaking yourself all over like a dog does, then see how it feels.

Is this similar to what you tried? I found it ok in the training event but harder to do at home, even alone. If I even remember it.

I would be interested in TRE if you have a link to any examples.
