BeHea1thy has started a thread about a workbook on recovering from Complex PTSD published by the Morris Centre.  It's free so you can download it or just follow the steps BH has kindly copied and pasted and then talk about your progress with others if you're so inclined -  https://cptsd.org/forum/index.php?topic=12011.0;topicseen.  You can go at your own pace, no need to do each step as a group.

Note: It's a step program but unlike the 12 steps of AA/Al Anon/ACOA where you are required to take responsibility for your behaviour & the harm you have caused others, it's about recognizing you had no responsibility for the abuse/neglect you endured.

Two other things to point out are: a) recovery/healing is not linear and we may go backward and forward throughout the process; and, b) it may be an idea to let your T know you are working on this or work together with them, especially if you are in the early stages of recovery.

Tks BeHea1thy!
