Hi Everyone:
I had the following request from Roxanne Kerr, a trauma therapist with Helix Therapies in Scotland. She is looking for participants for a survey she is conducting to gather data from trauma survivors:
I am a trauma therapist and currently looking to develop a holistic and collaborative service which would be free to everyone who has experienced some form of trauma (Ranging from military to childhood abuse to illness and bereavement etc). As well as providing therapy, I would like the service to offer opportunities for training and personal development and the chance for people to shape the future of services and understanding of trauma through participation in research. In order to get this up and running and make it a reality, I need some data to prove that there is a need for this type of project and as such I have created a survey in order to capture this data. I was wondering whether there was anyway to share this information on your website or forum? While the service is based in Scotland, I am looking to hear from anyone regardless of location. If you can spare 20-30 minutes to take the survey it would be much appreciated, even if you are not from Scotland. I have asked Roxanne to share her findings with us and will post them on our Research page for others to read and draw from. The survey is anonymous.
