I've been attending online meetings via Zoom, hosted by NAASCA (National Association of Adult Survivors of Child Abuse, http://www.naasca.org). I'm finding them very helpful, and there are plans to continue them after the current social distancing procedures are relaxed.

I would encourage anyone who wants to put a face on their co-sufferers (for lack of a better word) to register for these meetings, https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_lES7QufkTha0_-Rs7DCh-w. It's a quick and easy process, they just email you a personal link to join the meetings, and that's all there is to it.

Meetings are held Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 2:00 pm Eastern Time (11:00 am Pacific). You can choose to appear on camera or not, to speak or not.

(This is not a 12 Step group although several participants have backgrounds in 12 step groups and sometimes references are made to 12 step meetings. References are sometimes made to higher powers, but not everyone in the group believes in one and no attempt is made to proselytize.)

Not everyone in the group is diagnosed, or identifies with having, cptsd. Most are survivors of sexual trauma. Some have backgrounds of other abuse as well.

At the last meeting, the hosts asked if we could help promote and get the word out about these meetings. Presently there are about 20 people who attend regularly, about 12 or so people in each meeting. They'd like to see more.

Thanks for this Three Roses.
Do they allow people from other parts of the world?
