[rainydiary]

I've never really written a poem before but was inspired by the offerings here.  Here is my attempt:

Peace begins with me
Is what I want to feel
Deep in my bones

How is that I can
Create a space for peace for others
While fighting inside

Disorganized, fragmented
Is not peace
But chaos

Piece by piece
Step by step
Slowly I build peace inside

One day
I hope to feel deep
Peace begins with me

Your words are resonating rainydiary - keep writing when the words come to you. I've found it helps me enormously to articulate concisely in poetry some aspect of my feelings and experiences. I write without any rules. I write what feels right to me at that moment. It helps to bring order to disorder in my mind. It's an important part of my healing.  Thank you for sharing.
