Forum Upgraded: Missing Posts

The forum was ungraded to a new platform yesterday so unfortunately you may find some posts have gone missing. I did not know this was happening and didn't put it in maintenance mode. GoDaddy made the move and did not for whatever reason tell OOTF or us. The posts from their IT person warning me it was going to happen at some point went to my Spam and I just found them now. 

I'm going to look into it and see if I can get those posts back.

In the meantime, please keep a copy of your posts until the OOTF IT and I ensure it's all clear to carry on as per usual.

Unfortunately missing posts cannot be recovered I'm sorry to say.  My apologies, as I posted I did not see the post to put the board in Maintenance mode until the server shift had already occurred.

Things should be fine now as the period when the move took place was sometime 24 hours from Sunday evening to Monday evening US/Canada.  I will be talking to the IT OOTS person to see if we can put a better process in place for Go Daddy to notify us of any maintenance work with better notice.

several of my posts disappeared, but happily, the person was able to see them and mentioned that they were no longer there.  i'm glad about that cuz i would've felt a little nuts if i'd gone back and they weren't there but i thought i'd written something.  anyway, glad to have this cleared up.

Exactly San, it's weird to have that happen and of course having CPTSD we think it's us.

Go Daddy is not the greatest when it comes to telling clients when something is going to happen and I missed the email from OOTF telling me it was coming.  If/when I know I put the forum in maint mode and then posts aren't lost.
