Cycles: EFs correlating to moon

It's been two/three months now (repetition) that I had a bad EF start with the new moon. And then subsequently break free and calming down with the passing of the full moon. My therapist mentioned this once as being a possible contributing factor. Other folks have made allusions here on the forum that I've picked up on as well. I would like some kind of tracking method to my EFs, but am just too busy to invest the time... at least for the moment.

Has anyone else noticed a correlation with their emotional state and cycles (lunar or otherwise)?

Yes. I tend to get quite uptight in the days leading to a full moon. This has happened for years. It does not always happen and I try not to pay particular mind to it in case I start a self-fulfilling prophecy cycle. But over the years if I have felt uptight for no other obvious reason I have frequently (possibly always) then noticed a full moon a couple of days later. I wondered if it might tie in with my menstrual cycle but that is (was) not in sync with moon phases.

Interesting NarcKiddo...

Here's an article from the BBC website:

"Even if the mechanism eludes us for now, none of the scientists contacted for this article dispute Wehr's basic finding: that his bipolar patients mood swings are rhythmic, and that these rhythms appear to correlate with certain gravitational cycles of the Moon."

The physical side to this is that parasite activity in the human body is linked to the full moon as it is the time they reproduce. While it may seem out there, parasites are more common than one imagines.

I've also just been reading about bacteria and macrobiotic balances in the intestines. These are certainly more susceptible to cyclic variations. And our intestines are our second brains.

I always have difficulties sleeping before and during full moon and also I tend to have very weird and depressing dreams that give me uncomfortable feelings after waking up. I donĀ“t know the science behind that but it happens regularly during full moon.
