Welcome back and thank you for letting us know how things went for you.  It is encouraging to hear success stories as well as how you coped w/a few inappropriate people.  Nurses can be incredibly supportive.  And the art.  And being surrounded by others recovering.

Welcome back Roadie, I'm so glad to hear that it worked out for you!  Very interesting comments from the pdoc. When a front line mental health professional does not know the difference between PTSD and CPTSD - wow and yikes!  :stars: 

I think it's wonderful that you knew the nurse had the problem and not you. It took me years to figure out that a) it wasn't always me; and, b) that not every mental health professional has compassion or even a clue.  ;D

Anyway, glad you're back   :hug:
