Delving into the questions
« on: August 16, 2015, 11:37:31 PM »
Hi everyone! I'm Vrizzy and well, I've been looking into C-PTSD  because I may have it. I'm nervous posting this because I'm not sure if my situation could cause C-PTSD. I've not been abused or neglected by my family but I've been neglected by peers during elementary and middle school. (Those were probably my fault.) Anyways hi and nice to meet everyone. ^^"

Hi Vrizzy

Bullying in itself certainly can cause C-PTSD.  I sometimes am hard on myself too, and think that it was my fault that I was abused, but it's not true.  You didn't deserve to be treated that way.

Pete Walker's book "Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving" addresses this, and much more that can be a big asset to healing, self awareness, and it is the number one recommended book on this site. I'm almost done reading it, and it's helped me a lot so far.

This is a safe place. I hope you find comfort and ease in your experience here and welcome!

I have heard that exclusion is a form of bullying. So this makes sense, thanks!

Thanks guys! You are so very nice!
