Dutch Uncle

This weekend at a yearly get-together with friends we will give each other gifts. Lots of them.

One of the guys is a bit of a stickler for 'living in the now' ("nu" in Dutch). Which is a good thing.

So I made him this:

Thanks for all the compliments :shy:

He liked it a lot. So did everybody else. We do like to tease each other on such things, so everybody had a good laugh. He had a picture taken with it, send it to another good buddy of his who said: "Where did he buy it?"
"Handmade!" he replied proudly  ;D

I bought a second hand clock (for $5 or so), erased the original numbers, and then simply printed the letters and glued them on the plate.

So glad you had a good time!!

I enjoy giving people  things that I make, especially when it hits a home run like yours did - So cool Dutch!

Thanks for the info.
