Yes I'm here...
This thread is so important at this time of Yr..
I usually go to my old home town at this time. This yr I haven't. Let go of long term toxic friend, have gone lower contact (lc with father and grandmother v frail and m around more so that's not safe.
Tbh it's OK and quite a relief not to put myself through the upheaval of all I've needed to do to prep for these trips emotionally.
This yr I'm with a friend elderly women. We spent last Xmas together so I know what to expect and it was nice and relaxed
