My inner child at xmas

Being a poor father to my inner child, I didn't get him anything.   Instead, I drew a card with my left hand as an Xmas present from my ic to adult me...   I wrote: "thanks for trying to look after me, and I hope you do better at it next year."

I feel pretty good about doing it....

A few months back, my 'mind's theatre' projected a story about wandering back and rescuing my inner child. Without retelling that tale from the original that was posted here, suffice to say I got him back 'home' with me, and it's made a difference. Almost life-saving, in one instance; too convoluted to go into here, though.

I find your own interaction an inspiring outlook about these relationships and how we can grow from them.
