They are the team that keeps the forum going.  They help ensure guidelines are being used.  They moderated and provide administration so we can all use the forum and site.

Oops! Didn't see this, thanks Dee!

Yes, Dee is correct, and if you'd like to help you can familiarize yourself with the forum's guidelines and report posts that don't follow them. It's completely anonymous, no one will know you reported a post, and it's better to over-report than under-. With everyone keeping their eyes peeled, we all help make our community safe.

I think I've sent a message about this, but I can help if you wish. I want to give something back, it's therapeutic and human.
Something as simple as using https or things like that. Since English is not my native language I can't be of much help to help you guys monitor the content, for now.

Count with me.

Tks for the offer Sunny, but we feel it's important for new members to take some time to deal with their recovery, and for us to get to know new members before they take on any volunteer work like moderating or IT.

Im  so so deeply grateful for out of the storm, kizzie for managing it so well and the moderators and monitors for their service .. I found this site 4 years ago via a facebook group for bpd relatives and it has been such a strong source of support for me ..
I've just read I've posted 1,100 times and thats and average of 0.7 posts a day !

May i ask what is the difference between a moderator and a monitor and how much time is required for each in any given week ?

Sure thing Boats - a monitor doesn't make any moderating decisions, rather they read a few more posts than they might normally and report any that contravene the OOTS Member Guidelines. Monitors can put in as much or as little time as they want and like anyone who volunteers here step away at any time.

Tks for the kind words, they mean a lot to me and Blueberry and Deep Blue as well I'm sure.  So glad the site has been helpful for you.
