Way to go woodsgnome! Happy for you.

alchemist

I was invited and went to my neighbors' for drinks.:) :
I resolved a flashback within a few minutes. :cheer:
I pet a GORGEOUS dog who licked me and gave me his paw.
:cheer: YAY Me! I'm awesome<3

Wife#2

1) The people on this forum are amazing! It's wonderful to feel such great support, and to offer support in return.
2) My grown son gave the puppies their first bath overnight, so I awoke to clean and happy puppies.
3) I got up early enough that I was able to listen to the radio preacher I enjoy - he teaches and makes people laugh even if he's 'stepping on toes'.
4) I did enough yesterday at work that today will be easier!

Elphanigh

Great Job Alchemist, glad you found this post. :cheer:
Wife#2 that sounds amazing.
Here are mine for the day

1. I am still amazed that this post gets used so much. It gives me happiness to know that it is useful
2.I slept well for the first time in weeks
3. I am beginning to choose things for me, and not others

Elphanigh

For today:

1. I have plans with people tonight!
2. My self care last night has really put me in a good place this morning
3. I got up early enough to make  up an hour of time at work before others were in the office

Blueberry

1. I started singing again today after months of no singing. Now as a result I'm singing in my head as I write.
2. This afternoon's excruciating head-ache has gone away.
3. Saw lots of pretty flowers today.

Elphanigh

Little harder to do this today, but it is always when I need it.

1. I finally got my car registration fixed
2. Wife#2's imagery of our chalk adventures
3. I will get to go to bed early

Blueberry

1. I found some new furniture (new to me  ;)  ) including a proper office chair which is helping me to sit upright at the computer.
2. Reading and writing on here is helping me regroup and make some new realisations this evening.
3. I started taking my meds again today.

Lingurine

1. I feel connected with people on this forum.
2. My jaw finally feels less painful.
3. I see a bit of a brighter future once and a while.

It has been a while. I want to come back to this today.

1. I stood up for myself and made sure I didn't just brush over the fact I was hurt
2. I ate breakfast
3. The support I have here and from friends is remarkable
4. I am not giving up on myself or my strength

Elphanigh

Going to write this again.

1. I feel "good" today, it has been a while
2. Sara made an effort today, one day at a time right?
3. I get to play volleyball after work today

Elphanigh

I have been using this a lot lately, but I need my own thread a ton

1. I have a date on Sunday with a really sweet woman
2. The kindness on here is endless
3. Wife#2 made my day (really probably made my week)

Wife#2

Three good things:

1) Coming to this website, while sometimes sad, challenging and hard, is also a joy to my heart because of the people here.
2) My husband got up with me this morning (instead of sleeping in hours) and was pleasant.
3) I've been blessed with some insights that helped people. *

*These are from God, so if you've received one from me, enjoy! I'm not that smart. Bear with me if you're not religious, but... to God be the Glory. Thank you for giving me the words to encourage my friends and let them know you love them even better than I ever could.... And I love each of  you very much!

Elphanigh

Wife#2, I am so glad to hear of that progress!  :cheer:

Blueberry

1. I finally had a tradesman come by to deal with my heating, which has been partially running in summer.
2. Finally this tradesman took the problem seriously, which means he took me and my complaint seriously (!),  and found a solution. (The previous tradesman who looked at the problem explained it away as being "normal" for this and that reason and I was in too much of an EF to be able to argue)
3. When I mentioned to the tradesman that the proposed solution - which I'll have to do myself every spring and fall - will be a bit tricky for me, since I'm not very good at 'handyman' jobs, he suggested I try it out right then and there! This was the best idea because when I do things myself, I learn them. (More on this in my Journal).
4. The scent of blossoms in the garden coming in through my open windows.
