I saw it all through my eyes in a glaze
I pretended I couldn't and wouldn't know
I held the memories way too tight
The emotion of it all will show
Moving on in a slow pace
Asking for help whilst drifting away
Looking for answers but should be questions first
A way out of this madness is questionless now
Years down the line I'm still trapped within
I'm longing to leave yet about to give in
Flashes and memories at my door
Just don't feel I can take anymore
Help is at hand but it's so long and slow
Remembering it all just nowhere to go
I need to talk maybe she'd some tears
Going back to that place fills me back with fear
Moving forward yet holding back
No way out feel like I'm stuck
Keep on going hold my head up high
I'll make it through and I'll wonder why.......

This really speaks to me about the absolute confusion of cptsd. Was that one of the aspects you were thinking about whilst writing this, I wonder?

I think I was going through an ef at the time and questioning my place in life and trying hard to carry on even though I felt like I wanted to give up.

From one blue to another, it's beautiful 💙
