Applying for a job

So... I've sent my cv out to a few places. I'm really nervous, feel under qualified, feel embarrassed that I have dsh scars all over my arms, although most people tell me they're not so obvious now they're old. Sometimes I feel like actually getting a job would be the scariest thing. But then I know I need to look my fears in the face and learn that it's not really a big deal. Trying. Drumming my fingers and trying, hoping I won't have to wait too long before I hear back - even if it's being turned down. The waiting is the harder part, I guess.

Good luck Estella,

Looking for work is a positive step and working is good for well being so I hope you are successful.

Feeling under qualified is not surprising if you have been out of employment for a while, it knocks confidence.

Volunteering somewhere might help restore that, and some employers appreciate that at interview too?

I used to go for jobs I was over qualified for due to lack of confidence, glad you aren't doing that.

Just wanted to wish you luck Estella, rooting for you!   :cheer:
